Transgender People to get Rs 7,000 under Benazir Kafalat Programme

 In a bid to bring an ever increasing number of minimized sections of society under the Benazir Pay Backing System (BISP), its board Friday pronounced transsexual people a recipient of the Benazir Kafalat Program (BKP).

An agreement with this impact was reached in the 56th BISP Governing body meeting, led by Government Pastor for Destitution Lightening and Social Wellbeing and BISP Executive Shazia Marri, as per an authority proclamation.

"The 56th Executive Gathering of Benazir Pay Backing System which [was] held under [the] seat of Government Pastor/Director BISP Shazia Atta Marri [has] taken choices of primary changes, stretching out advantages to [the] transsexual local area and [is] intended to stretch out all conceivable assistance to destitute individuals," said a post on true BISP Twitter handle.

In a video message on Friday, Marri made sense of the cycle. "The individuals from the transsexual local area are asked to enlist themselves with BKP, adding that they would get Rs7,000 upon fruitful enrollment," the message said.
